www.focus2.comPoster Copy: Frankenstein in Franklin Gothic Mary Shelley meet Morris Benton. Classic Killer Type 03 As the sole creator for over 50 typefaces, including Franklin Gothic, Morris Fuller Benton transformed the world of lettering forever. From a young age he and his father Linn Boyd worked and reworked type using a pantographic engraving machine. Also merging man and machine, Mary Shelley at only 18, defined a future industry of horror via Frankenstein, released in 1818, the same year as Giambattista Bodoni's print standard Manuale tipografico. These two classics have been brought together by focus2 brand development to celebrate the season and the classics which continually inspire and motivate us. ![]()
