Client: Id Software Type: Packaging Return to Castle Wolfenstein - Mass Market Developed as a mass market release of the packaging for Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the paper version of the box was designed to communicate an in-depth marketing message. Using a cover flap, we designed the packaging to be story-driven - featuring elements that communicated the hero's mission, identity and WWII era game play. The cover was designed using dull and gloss varnishes to create textures that gave the package a worn look and feel.
